Dotting Technique
Dotting technique used to make our work it is also called Also called Pointillism is a technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of color are applied in patterns to form an image.
The word pointillism is used to name an artistic technique based on stippling. This technique is done by placing dots of different colors on a surface forming shapes, figures, lights and shadows instead of brush strokes.
This ancient technique was used by Australian aborigines as part of their designs and drawings. The dots were carefully placed to create not only shapes but also effects of light and depth.
Our technique is done with dots of different sizes, both large and small, and these can be superimposed, one on top of the other in different colors, combining them with strokes, lines and brushstrokes.
Pointillism is also used as a beautiful decorative technique on objects, stones and different elements used in decoration.
